The Film
Shot over three nights in a working arena, this short lives in doorways, breath and tungsten light. We kept the camera low and close, letting the room's own practicals do most of the talking so every glance carries weight.
The Approach
A single 35mm anamorphic prime for the whole film, handheld with a long lens for the quiet scenes and wide open for the chaos. The grade holds warm shadows against cold corridors to split the world inside from the world outside.
